I would die for a decent hardware controller that can reflect MS smart controls on a keyboards screen and controllers. It's a pity that an iPad + remote control app still seems to be the best option to control MS with visual and per patch feedback. Using KK stand-alone does not work out for me as I rely on too many MS feature for live performance. Other than NKI features, most goodness of the KK hardware gets lost (transport controls etc), as MS is not a supported Daw/Host, which limits the keyboard to Midi mode (as far as I understand things). Not sure, if KK S61 does even hot-switch between KK instances assigned to MS tracks / patches MS internal instruments are not AUs and thus cannot be put inside of KK AU.mapping on MS level would become a pain, as params are buried in the KK AU.for full integration FX would need to happen in KK AU but not MS channel strips.a MS patch can consist if several tracks/channel strips though With KOMPLETE KONTROL, however, all of your KOMPLETE and NKS presets are intuitively tagged and organised, so finding the right one is fast and easy. every instrument in MS would need to be wrapped in KK AU.I guess what I am trying to achieve is using the KK S61 to control parameters of MS patches, using the NI NKS to reflect MS patch's parameter names and values in the KK S61 displays. The controller automatically has full access to the KK browsing and control interface when KK is instantiated on the track currently in focus. Thanks, that was helpful. I use Logic, not MainStage, but Logic/MS see KK as the "software instrument" and do not see the actual NKI plugin inside.
